Exposition Arludik

En même temps que paraît le nouveau catalogue d'agent 002, pour fêter les 10 ans de l'agence, une exposition d'une sélection d'images extraites de ce catalogue à lieu du 13 au 16 novembre à la galerie Arludik à Paris.

L'exposition est accrochée aux cimaises d'Arludik pendant seulement 3 jours.

Ces images tirées par Blauprint au format 56 x 56 cm sont vendues 700 Euros, voici la mienne.

Bellaciao

"BELLACIAO" - le nouveau catalogue d'agent 002 -

Bellaciao est l'épopée d'un diamant à travers le XXe siècle, imaginée par le scénariste Fred Bernard, préfacé par Alain Lachartre, et illustrée par 24 illustrateurs d'Agent 002. La direction artistique a été assurée par Pierre Berget / Be dandy.

Le récit démarre à San Francisco en 1898, et s'achève à Paris en 2009. Une fantaisie historique en 24 chapitres dans laquelle se croisent Jack London, Greta Garbo, Fidel Castro, Louis Armstrong, Jacques Prévert et un diamant qui s'échange au gré des bonnes et mauvaises fortunes de ses propriétaires ; et qui traverse tous les événements historiques du siècle, des chercheurs d'or au naufrage du Titanic, de la guerre de 14/18 au krach boursier de 1929, de l'élection de François Mitterrand à la mort d'Alain Bashung. C'est sur l'air de "Bijou, Bijou" que se clôt ce voyage en images.

Pour ma part j'ai réalisé ces 3 illustrations, nous sommes en Mai 68…

Voici ma participation pour le supplément "My Face" du n°3730 de Spirou Magazine qui sort demain.

J'ai eu beaucoup de chance que mon illustration apparaisse sur la couverture.

J'espère avoir à travailler de nouveau avec eux.

A Serbian woman has been cured of a deadly heart condition when she was struck by lightning.

Shocked doctors who'd been treating Nada Acimovich, 51, for arrhythmia irregular heartbeats that can be a killer discovered she had made a complete recovery.

The condition for which Tony Blair had treatment five years ago is normally treated with mild electric shocks to reset the heart's rhythm.

Mrs Acimovich, of Sljivovica, Serbia, was saved from death by her rubber soled shoes but the electric jolt put her heartbeat back to normal, say medics.

"In the first place she's lucky to be alive because of the lightning strike, but she's now going to live for much longer too," explained one.

Villa Arpel's Chair

La semaine dernière j'ai trouvé cette chaise au milieu d'un tas de gravas dans une benne à ordures…

Elle m'a plu dès que je l'ai aperçue, je l'ai aussitôt mise dans ma voiture, en arrivant chez moi j'ai tout de suite envoyé une photo à mon ami Cami qui m'a dit qu'elle était (mais sans les accoudoirs) dans la villa Arpel du film "Mon Oncle" de Jacques Tati.

Même si Cami s'y connaît beaucoup en design, je ne le croyais pas trop, car c'était trop beau pour être vrai…

Mais après quelques recherches je me suis rendu compte qu'il avait raison et que j'avais eu beaucoup de chance de passer dans cette rue ce jour là.

Last week I found this chair in a heap of engraved in a garbage dumpster… She reminds me a chair of the villa Arpel in the Jacques Tati movie "Mon Oncle".
